GM Now Has More Raw Power at Their Command with a Custom-Tailored Version of AR's Model 10000A250 Amplifier

Souderton, PA-August 5, 2002- About two years ago, Amplifier
Research introduced a new, Class "A", VSWR tolerant amplifier with a frequency range of 100 kHz to 250 MHz. Capable of delivering more power using solid state circuitry than any amplifier on the market, the Model 10000A250 delivers 10,000 watts with the increased longevity and reliability only available with solid-state construction. Previously, 10,000
watts could be achieved only with configurations involving tubes.

AR is now pleased to announce that the first modified versions of the 10000A250, with a frequency range of 100 kHz to 100 MHz, have been delivered, installed and are operating successfully at General Motors. The amplifiers, tailored to GM's requirements, are providing more raw power than the GM technicians have had at their command in this frequency range.

The team at GM reported that they were relieved and impressed that the unit performed as advertised; and they are particularly pleased with how quietly it runs, given that the unit dissipates up to 40kW of primary power in its quiescent state.

Like all AR products, the modified 10000A250 and the original version are backed by AR's world-class Mark of Performance, which includes a global support & service network and the strongest guarantee in the industry. Every AR amplifier (with the exception of tubes) is backed by a full 3-year warranty.
