Effortel deploys the Amdocs Compact Convergence suite as its Mobile Virtual Network Enabler platform to allow worldwide retailer to rapidly introduce service in multiple markets

LOUIS and BRUSSELS, Belgium, Feb. 7 / / -- Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and Effortel SA, a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE), today announced that Effortel has deployed the Amdocs Compact Convergence suite to help one of the world's largest retailers offer mobile phone service in Belgium. Effortel is working with the worldwide retailer as a part of a plan to offer low-cost mobile service in multiple markets worldwide.
Amdocs Compact Convergence offers Effortel the operational flexibility and agility needed to efficiently and cost-effectively create, deliver and manage new value-added services. This network-connected service creation and delivery solution has pre-integrated convergent real-time charging and a complete set of business support systems to fully support each of Effortel's Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) customer sites worldwide with a single deployment. As a result, Effortel can achieve its business objectives, and minimize capital and operational costs with a low cost of ownership across multiple locations.
