Alltel Wireless Selects Brainware's A/P-distiller(TM) to Automate Invoice Processing

ASHBURN, Va., May 22, 2007 -- Brainware, Inc., whose solutions enable high-speed capture, search, and classification of vital, unstructured corporate data, today announced that its accounts payable (A/P) automation solution, A/P-distiller(TM), will be used by Alltel Wireless, the nation's largest wireless network, to automate invoice processing at its Little Rock, AR corporate headquarters.
The Alltel Wireless network provides nearly 12 million customers throughout the U.S. with voice and advanced data services. A Forbes 500 company with more than $8 billion in annual revenue, Alltel's vendor community includes more than 15,000 suppliers, who collectively generate 515,000 invoices for Alltel to process each year. Alltel is deploying Brainware's A/P-distiller to speed the processing of this large volume of invoices.

Brainware's "intelligent" data capture and search software automates the high-speed processing of critical information from documents and other information sources. A/P-distiller provides template-free extraction and auto-processing of invoice data into SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems or DMS repositories (e.g., Filenet, Documentum, OpenText, Stellent, etc.). As an intelligent, context-based approach to data recognition and capture, A/P-distiller is particularly strong in automatically extracting line-item details from the complex tables typically found in lengthy invoices.
