AirLoc Wedgmounts® with Damping Pads Put the Skids on John Deere Genset Vibration

Whitestone Power and Communication, a small rural energy provider, recently
installed new John Deere prime movers on AirLoc 204.3 VRC Wedgmounts® in
conjunction with AirLoc 727 damping pads. Hasz Consulting Co., experts with
vibration analysis and testing, worked with Whitestone on the installation. Steve
Selvaggio of Hasz says that "the purpose of the mounting system was to minimize
high amplitude vibration during startup and shutdown and to reduce steady state
vibration which leads to shortened life of genset parts, due to fatigue".

Steve reports "the combination of leveling and damping capabilities of the AirLoc
mounting system provided for ease of installation and optimum vibration control".
AirLoc Wedgmounts® are available in a variety of sizes and attachment methods.
AirLoc Pads, come in a wide range of stiffnesses, thicknesses, and damping levels,
and can be used with AirLoc Wedgmounts® (shown below) and Jacmounts® to
provide a complete mounting system.
