Air Switches increase safety in industrial applications.

Press Release Summary:

MV Series 3-way air switches, designed for use in place of electrical limit switches, eliminate spark hazard in industrial applications. Installed as NO, NC, or diverters, 1/8 in. ported air pilot valves eliminate need for wire shielding, transformers, and solenoids, simplifying control circuitry. Model MV-60 provides AND logic function with hookup that causes valve to respond only to simultaneous air signals at 2 ports.

Safety and Convenience Provided by MV Series Three-Way Air Switches

Chicago, Ill - 2005 -- Designed for use in place of electrical limit switches, MV Series three-way air switches reduce hookup costs and eliminate spark hazard in a wide range of industrial applications. MV valves eliminate the need for wire shielding, transformers, and solenoids -- thus simplifying control circuitry. These 1/8 inch ported air pilot valves are identical in size, actuating style, and mounting characteristics to most industrial electrical limit switches.

With simple piping variations, MV valves can be installed as normally open, normally closed, or as diverters. To facilitate tube connection, MV valves are available with plug-in options using brass plug-in fittings.

The MV-60, a three-way piloted valve, provides a simple "AND" logic function with a hookup that causes the valve to respond only to simultaneous air signals at two ports.

Versatile MV Series Air Switches are widely used in many different types of industrial applications, including conveyor, chemical, car wash, sewing, hospital bed, fueling, nuclear, automation, robotics, and construction applications.
