Air Nozzle provides precision blowoff capabilities.

Press Release Summary:

Projecting less than 1 in. past mounting surface for installation in limited-space applications, Micro Air Nozzle(TM) has narrowly focused, 1.25 in. dia air pattern when positioned 6 in. away from target surface. Amplification of entrained airflow and blowing force of 12 oz are achieved with air consumption of 13 SCFM @ 80 psig. Stainless steel construction makes unit suited for blowoff, cooling, and drying applications in corrosive environments.

Original Press Release:

Micro Air Nozzle For Precision Blowoff

EXAIR's new Micro Air Nozzle(TM) is the smallest available, providing precision blowoff with a directed high volume, high velocity airflow. The air nozzle projects less than one inch past the mounting surface which permits installation where space is limited. The durable stainless steel construction is ideally suited for blowoff, cooling and drying applications located in general industrial, high temperature, food, pharmaceutical or corrosive environments.

The Micro Air Nozzle has been engineered to provide a narrowly focused air pattern that measures only 1.25" in diameter when positioned 6" away from the target surface. High amplification of entrained airflow and a strong blowing force of 12 ounces are achieved with minimal air consumption of 13 SCFM at 80 PSIG. The Micro Air Nozzle meets the OSHA standards for dead-end pressure 29 CFR 1910.242(b) and noise requirements 29 CFR 1910.95(a), assuring safe operation.

The Micro Air Nozzle has a common 1/8 NPT male compressed air inlet that makes it easy to replace existing wasteful nozzles or open pipes. The 7/16" hex (11mm) body can be installed using standard wrenches or sockets. A variety of configurations are available that include Safety Air Guns, flexible Stay Set hoses and magnetic bases. Price starts at $26. For a catalog showing complete details, contact:
