Cosmo Introduces New Air Leak Tester And Changes Its Company Name
Cosmo Instruments, Co., Ltd., Farmington Hills, Michigan, announces the development of Model LS-1842, the latest in its popular line of "intelligent", high-precision air leak testers. Effective immediately the company is also changing its name to COSMO SOLUTIONS TECHNOLOGY, INC. to better reflect the organization's rapid response time, flexibility of products and expanded peripheral offerings.
The Model LS-1842 Air Leak Tester offers enhanced performance in the computerized on-line testing of troublesome air leaks in automotive and electronic components, medical devices, castings, valves and many other products. Its improved Differential Pressure Sensor and high-performance AD Converter deliver stable measurements down to 0.1 Pa, improving test accuracy and shortening test time.
An Advanced Drift Compensation System eliminates drift errors and further reduces test time. A Noise Reduction (NR) Mode minimizes false rejection of good products, and intuitive graph screens make data review a breeze while simplifying tester setup.
This new leak tester is the result of Cosmo's almost 33 years of research, development and on-the-job testing of manufactured components and assemblies in all parts of the world. Its 32 standard channels permit multiple sets of test parameters to be programmed independently to accommodate multi-item testing needs.
An optional Electronic Pressure Regulator allows for automatic control of test pressure and permits different test pressures to be programmed for each channel.
