4" Deep High-Efficiency Air Filter Offers Space And Energy Savings
Riverdale, N.J., March 2002 - Camfil Farr has introduced a minipleat air filter that provides high filtration efficiency in a compact, energy-saving and easy-to-handle design. The "Ultrasolve(R) air filter is only 4" deep, saving valuable air handler component and inventory space; and its low-pressure drop performance (40 percent lower than comparable filters) reduces energy consumption. Ideal for commercial, institutional, medical/health care, food processing, electronics and other facilities where indoor air quality is important, the Ultrasolve filter is available in three efficiencies: MERV 11, 13 and 14 based on ASHRAE 52.2 (60-65 percent, 80-85 percent and 90-95 percent, based on ASHRAE 52.1).
The Ultrasolve filter uses a polypropylene media with high strength, low resistance to airflow and excellent moisture resistance in high humidity applications. Compact yet strong, the filter is guaranteed to withstand up to 10" w.g. without failure or distortion of the media pack. It is also lightweight, easy to handle, and resistant to damage during servicing; and its environmentally friendly design simplifies disposal.
