Agfa Graphics announced today that Royale Print & Packaging, a label and folding carton company in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has become the one-thousandth :ApogeeX workflow installation in North America.
With more than 13,000 licenses around the world, :Apogee workflow software has recently been updated with several key advancements that will continue to keep it as a favourite in the professional graphic communications community. Among these advances are the inclusion of Adobe's PDF Print Engine, enhanced automation of pages and plates, a new Digital Quick Strip (DQS) that allows the rendering of pages separately, and a new Software Update Manager (SUM) that enables upgrades and troubleshooting with automated ease.
"Royale Print & Packaging has become a leader in our market because of our ability to provide all of our clients with the quality, service and cost-effectiveness they require," said Calvin Ripley, Royale Print & Packaging. "Our selection of the :ApogeeX workflow solution is a major part of that objective."
Royale Print & Packaging, the largest company of its kind in Atlantic Canada, produces a wide array of printed packages for consumer food products, including frozen seafood, chocolates, beer, pizza and pies.
"Our technologically advanced :ApogeeX workflow solutions are recognised and appreciated by customers around the world," said Jack Baraczek, director of Agfa Graphics, Canada. "Professionals in the industry are eager to use these tools that will help them improve efficiencies, advance customer communications, and ultimately give them the competitive edge."
The continuing development of the :ApogeeX solution is based both on Agfa's own technological innovations and feedback from :ApogeeX users worldwide.
