Advantech Increases Their Focus on the German Digital Signage Market by Starting a Cooperation with ALSO Actebis

Eindhoven - Advantech, a leading provider for global embedded and automation solutions announced today their extended focus in Advantech Europe's Intelligent Services sector and extending their digital signage sales force further with the collaboration with ALSO Actebis, the largest wholesale distributor of comprehensive products in Germany. The new cooperation is expected to position Advantech as one of the strongest digital signage brands in Germany.
Advantech's digital signage portfolio range includes x86 and RISC-based systems as well as all-in-one kiosk signage. Advantech is one of the first manufacturers to have developed Intel OPS compliant media players that are compatible with the leading display manufacturers Philips, NEC and Mitsubishi. The Open Pluggable Specification was developed to simplify the installation, use, maintenance and upgrading of small PCs that are installed with display panels in locations as widely varied as medical offices and fast food order counters. This technology has already been tested and qualified by many digital signage software companies. Advantech's OPS media player solution focuses on the robustness and around-the-clock operation that is applicable in high demanding environments such as airports, hospitals, hotels and shopping areas.
