The new video microscope boom arm stand provides an easily adjustable, yet stable method to mount the company's IS-3 series of inspection systems. The new stand provides greater stability and over 19" of reach. It also offers the flexibility of numerous
mounting and inspection angles and fine adjustments for precision modifications. Construction is solid steel.

ASG IS-3 video microscope inspection systems provide a means to quickly observe and record small objects.

Images can be viewed either on a computer or on a video monitor. Magnification is variable from 1x to 450x (IS-3N) or 1x to 230x (IS-3L) with manual zoom lens, based on a 14" monitor. The camera captures at 270,000 pixels of full color high-resolution. A 1/4-inch CCD camera, lens and white LED light-emitting diode are built into the microscope. (Video monitor sold separately, frame grabber required to view an image on a computer, also sold separately.)

Maximum usable height is 14 1/2", with an 18" horizontal reach. Typical items inspected include: circuit boards, contacts, leads, wires, molds, dies, broaches, QC, forensic, and R & D materials.
