CLEVELAND, OH - November 14, 2001 - ASG, a Division of Jergens, Inc., has announced a new adjustable torque manual screwdriver. The new adjustable torque manual drivers provide accurate and repeatable torque for light assembly. Operators can quickly "dial in" torques from 20 oz-in to 40 lbf-in. A simple twist sets torque. Slip clutch prevents over-torquing. Drivers automatically reset for the next fastener after torque is reached.
Three models are available: 20-100 oz-in, 3-15 lbf-in, and 5-40 lbf-in.
Preset manual torque drivers are also available from ASG. All ASG manual drivers are factory calibrated to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789 and ASME-B107M.
