Dublfilm SP507T Double Coated Tissue Tape for General Purpose Bonding
Scapa North America has introduced Dublfilm SP507T, a double-coated, pressure sensitive adhesive tape for demanding bonding, splicing and assembly applications.
Dublfilm SP507T features a thick layer of adhesive on both sides that allows it to bond well to irregular surfaces. The product can be used for foam fabrication, bonding to EPDM rubber, and splicing non-wovens, polyester films, cloth and untreated fabrics. The tape is easy to die-cut.
For dimensional stability and strength, Dublfilm SP507T features a conformable tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with an extremely aggressive acrylic adhesive. The product bonds well to low surface energy plastics and offers excellent adhesion to ether- and ester-type polyurethane foams. This tape provides exceptionally high tack and peel, and offers excellent resistance to environmental extremes.
