Scapa Introduces Adhesive Transfer Film for Mounting and Assembly Applications



Windsor, Connecticut - June 13, 2003....Scapa Industrial has introduced Scapa T002, a 1.6 mil unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film for graphic arts, photo mounting, picture framing, and product assembly applications.

The acid-neutral (pH 7) acrylic adhesive used in Scapa T002 is formulated with glass fibers to provide dimensional stability. The adhesive's high grab characteristics ensure successful splicing. T002 also provides good initial tack, good ultimate bonding power, and excellent resistance to UV exposure. The product is supplied on a 47# kraft liner and may be applied using a TD-1 tape dispenser or compatible application gun that provides smooth adhesive application, then automatically retracts the liner into the dispenser.
