Original Press Release:

Polyethylene PSA Films for General Splicing, Masking and Protection Applications

Windsor, Connecticut - June 27, 2005.... Scapa North America offers Polyflex 130 and 135, two low-density polyethylene (LDPE) pressure sensitive adhesive films designed for general purpose splicing, patching, masking, sealing, and surface protection applications. These single coated films feature synthetic rubber adhesives, and may be formulated with UV inhibitors to prevent degradation.

Highly conformable and easy to use, Polyflex 130 is formulated for surface abrasion and impact protection. Its low adhesion to most surfaces allows easy removal. The product is easily torn by hand, leaves little adhesive residue and offers low uniform unwind characteristics.

Heavy duty Polyflex 135 features a permanently tacky adhesive that bonds well to most surfaces over a wide temperature range and maintains a watertight seal in all weather conditions. Excellent for low temperature bonding, this highly conformable film offers good tear characteristics for easy application. Polyflex 135 is ideal for wire identification, surface protection, and polyethylene splicing.

Both Polyflex 130 and 135 are available in assorted colors.
