Glue Dots International Launches New Products at Drupa 2012

New Berlin, Wisconsin - Glue Dots International (GDI), a leading global manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive patterns, has partnered with Sumbel GmbH to exhibit at the Drupa trade fair in Dusseldorf, Germany. GDI representatives will be in the Sumbel stand, Hall 11, stand D77, demonstrating two new adhesive applicators for post-press production.

"We are excited to present two new products to the European market at Drupa," said John Henderson, European Group Managing Director Glue Dots International. "We will be demonstrating how the inline SD-900(TM) and the bench-top Econodot® applicators are cost-effective, low-maintenance solutions for post-press production."

As a turnkey solution, the EconoDot quickly and easily integrates into any production facility, requiring little downtime. The lightweight design of the EconoDot allows it to easily move from workstation to workstation and requires no programming.

Conversely, the SD-900 is a fully automated, inline adhesive applicator engineered to quickly, cleanly, and easily apply Glue Dots Brand Adhesives. It reduces operating and maintenance costs by eliminating waste and cleaning, as well as increases worker safety by eliminating the risk of burn injuries.

"The SD-900 provides continuous adhesive application at feed rate up to 300 applications per minute, perfect for high volume production facilities," Henderson continued. "And, the EconoDot requires zero programming, yet dispenses a single Glue Dots pattern at a rate of 60 patterns per minute, making it one of the most efficient, non-programmable bench-top adhesive applicators on the market."

John Downs, President of Glue Dots International added, "By exhibiting at Drupa with Sumbel we are able to demonstrate the significant cost-saving difference between these two products and ones currently in the market."

The SD-900 and the EconoDot will be on display at Sumbel's stand, Hall 11, stand D77, throughout Drupa, May 3-16. Representatives will be providing live demonstrations and answering questions.
