Electrack 1 Long Life Actuator Delivers Consistent Performance Under Rigorous Use

Compact, Completely Self-Contained and Sealed for Outdoor Use

Cleveland. Ohio - Danaher Motion announces the availability of the Thomson Electrak I Long Life actuator, a compact, light duty DC actuator that delivers unparalleled performance under adverse conditions, such as mobile off highway and agricultural applications. Completely self-contained and sealed for outdoor use, the actuator fits into small areas without sacrificing power or reliability. The load/length configurations available cover a diverse range of intermittent duty applications requiring lifting, positioning, sorting, opening, clamping and adjusting.

The Thomson Electrak I Long Life actuator is equipped with fixed mechanical limit switches and an 80,000+ cycle capacity-more than double the life of many standard actuators in the marketplace. The limit switches control the power to the motor directly to stop the actuator at the end of the stroke and do not require power switching relays.

Available in 2, 4, and 6 inch stroke lengths, the Electrak I Long Life actuator is equipped with an acme screw drive that delivers as much as 75 pounds of force at a minimum extension speed of 0.6 in/sec. All models feature 12 or 24 VDC input with a plug-in connector and clevis style mounting for easy installation.

The Electrak I Long Life actuator provides consistent, repeatable performance, even under rigorous operating conditions where extreme temperature, high humidity or power input variations are present. Constructed of an aluminum/zinc alloy, the sealed actuator resists corrosion and provides protection from dirt and dust.
