Toronto, Canada - GAO Research Inc. (www.GAOResearch.com) has released a new revision of its Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) software, which is fully compliant with the ITU G.167 standard. The acoustic echo canceller eliminates acoustical echoes for of hands-free speaker phones. It runs on most commercially available DSPs/microprocessors and under popular real time operating systems.
This AEC software boasts high-performance full duplex operation, robust double-talk detection, high signal to noise ratio and Automatic Gain Control. The software is implemented in assembly or C and has user-callable functions. It can be easily integrated with applications in standard or cell phones, teleconferencing systems and hands-free car phone products. The AEC software works efficiently even requiring little data memory, program memory and computational requirements.
