Access Plates Can Make Routine Maintenance Easier and Faster
Large buildings contain hundreds of feet of water and power lines that need periodic maintenance. Reaching those lines shouldn't require tearing up portions of flooring. Access plates from Beckson Manufacturing allow repair personnel to gain contact in intervals for monitoring and maintenance.
Made of durable ABS plastic for a high-quality finish, the access plates come in several different models for a variety of applications. Screw-out plates open without tools and feature single, non-jamming, extra strong buttress thread. Pry-out versions come with a heavy O-ring to assure a tight fit. Thin-Ring plates work best for tight spaces and include drilling and counter-bore mounting options for normal pan-head screws. Twist-out AP50 Series plates are low profile and self centering with three separate sealing areas that chase liquid away from the plate opening for a tight closure. Plate sizes range from 4 inches to 8 inches diameter.
All Beckson Manufacturing access plates can be ordered with clear centers for easy observation without removing the entire plate. Some models also come with the choice of either a clear or opaque surface that can be smooth or dimpled to prevent skidding. For applications involving the use of or exposure to solvents, Beckson offers access plates made of polypropylene, which is more resistant to chemicals than plastic.
