Accelerometers endure extreme thermal cycling.

Press Release Summary:

Accelerometers have built-in electrical filter to prevent high frequency overload encountered in HALT/HASS/ESS testing with pneumatically actuated vibration tables. They are made of shear-structured sensing elements and hermetically sealed stainless steel housing. Units feature 10 mV/g sensitivity, frequency range to 10 kHz ±5%, and temperature range from -100 to +500°F.

Original Press Release:

HALT / HASS / ESS Accelerometers for Pneumatically-Actuated Vibration Testing Chambers

November 1, 2002, Depew, NY - New accelerometers from the Vibration Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., feature a built-in electrical filter to prevent high frequency overload encountered in HALT / HASS / ESS testing with pneumatically-actuated vibration tables. These durable units were designed to endure extreme and rapid thermal cycling and high-amplitude vibration testing.

Accelerometers are constructed of shear-structured sensing elements and hermetically-sealed stainless steel housings, with 10 mV/g sensitivity, frequency range to 10 kHz (±5%), and temperature range from -100° to 500° F (-73 to 260° C). The units weigh from 5.4 to 7 grams.
