Ethernet Interface Card Now Available for Associated Power Technologies 6000 Series of AC Power Sources



Diamond Bar, CA October 2009 - Announced today from Associated Power Technologies Inc. (APT) is the addition of an Ethernet interface to their 6000 Series of programmable AC Power Sources. Ethernet now joins RS-232 and GPIB as available automation interfaces for this line of AC Power Sources.

The Ethernet Communications card allows for setting up tests, executing tests, and retrieving data remotely from any PC with a network connection. APT's Ethernet interface is one of their latest innovations to shape the industry. The Ethernet Communication card also provides a barcode scanner port allowing for the capability to use a barcode scanner connected directly on the instrument. Lastly, the Ethernet Communication card also provides an active RS-232 serial port for added flexibility.

The 6000 series of programmable AC Power Sources feature 4 different models: The 6005 500VA AC Power Source, the 6010, 1 KVA AC Power Source, the 6020 2 KVA AC Power Source and the 6040 4 KVA AC Power Source. The 6000 series is well suited for test & measurement, avionics, manufacturing, and military applications. The 6000 series features a graphic liquid crystal display to monitor Voltage, Amps, Frequency, Power and Power Factor. The series also provide multiple memory locations to store and recall test programs, enhanced protection circuits and more.
