Hudson, MA – Protek Power North America announces the PM301 Series of AC-DC switching power supplies in a low profile package of 3 x 6 x 1.5 inches, capable of delivering 300 watts of continuous power with 10 CFM forced air or 200 watts at convection cooling. Product is available in open frame, L-bracket styles or factory configured with a cover-and-fan assembly.
The PM301 Series has a universal 90-264VAC input, active PFC, and a choice of seven output voltages ranging from 12VDC to 48VDC. Supplies are specifically certified for IEC/EN/UL/ES/CSA 60601-1 for medical applications (non life-supporting equipment), yet also designed to IEC/EN/UL/ES/CSA 60950-1 standards, suitable for data networking, computer and telecommunication applications. Additional standard features of the PM301 Series are BF Class insulation, operation up to 5000 meters, <220 uA leakage, a power fail detect signal, and operating temperature of 0°C to +70°C.
Units are compliant with RoHS requirements, EMC performance Level B standards, and have an MTBF of 250,000 hours at full load at 25°C ambient.
