Cotton Fiber Mounted Points Blend and Finish Welded Fabrications
A new line of cotton fiber mounted points that was developed for blending, finishing, and cleaning scratches and imperfections on welded fabrications is being introduced by Rex-Cut Products, Inc. of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Rex-Cut MX Plus(TM) Cotton Fiber Mounted Points are impregnated with aluminum oxide abrasives in a proprietary bond and are available in coarse, medium, and fine grits for deburring, blending, and finishing welded fabrications. Featuring smooth operator control, without chatter or vibration, they are capable of leaving a 32 RMS surface finish on stainless steel and aluminum.
Effective for removing the scratches resulting from carbide burs, resinoid and vitrified points, and coated abrasive products, Rex-Cut MX Plus(TM) Cotton Fiber Mounted Points can also be used for blending corner welds, deburring holes, and breaking edges without removing the base metal. They come in
25 shapes and sizes from 3/8" to 2" dia. and 3/8" to 2" long.
