MILPITAS, CA - March 28, 2003 - Linear Technology introduces the LTC1746, a 14-bit, 25Msps, Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) designed to conserve power and digitize high frequency signals. It boasts 77.5dB SNR and 99dB SFDR while dissipating only 390mW, meeting the demands of high-end medical imaging, portable instrumentation and communication applications.
The LTC1745 and LTC1746 combine high-speed performance with a flexible easy to use interface. The LTC1745 is a pin-compatible, 12-Bit, 25Msps ADC delivering low noise of 72.5dB SNR and 96dB SFDR. The input range on both devices can span ±1V to ±1.6V allowing the dynamic range to be optimized for the application. If the input ever goes out of range, there is an automatic indicator on the overflow pin. A separate output supply pin allows for easy connection to any CMOS logic family.
The LTC1745 and LTC1746 family is available in a 48-pin TSSOP package and screened for both commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Pricing starts at $9.30 each for the LTC1745 and $12.75 each for the LTC1746 in 1,000-piece quantities.
