Automated Enrollment Service Brings Scale to Online Banking Growth

ATLANTA, Ga., April 2 -- Online Banking Solutions (OBS) today announced commercial availability of their recently implemented rapid enrollment service for automated customer onboarding known as "Online Messenger(TM) OnBoard".

OnBoard is a new integrated enrollment service for Business Banking and Cash Management customers based on the Online Messenger(TM) platform. With the OnBoard intuitive user interface, complex multi-product enrollment is replaced with an easy to use 5-step process enabling a financial institution to add thousands of new customers to predefined product packages and optional services supported by internal and third-party applications.

Developed at the request of Sovereign Bank, a $90 billion financial institution with nearly 800 community banking offices, over 2,000 ATMs and approximately 12,000 team members with principal markets in the Northeast United States, the system is in production today receiving thousands of enrollment applications each month and is used throughout the branch network and in an outbound telesales group.

OnBoard is used by authorized bank staff in branches and call centers for in-person and remote enrollment to any or all of the following systems: DDA and Loan (lookups for company and account data), OBS Online Messenger, E- Statement Delivery, Cash Management, Online Banking, Business Bill Payment, Multi-factor Authentication.

According to OBS CEO Dan Myers, "Traditional Cash Management solutions have been unable to scale to the business banking market. With OnBoard integrated into a bank environment, we can reduce the turnaround time, cost and difficulty of implementing new customers, increasing the processing scale from hundreds to multiple thousands of customer enrollment applications.
