3d Systems Selects Canon Virginia to Manufacture V-Flash(TM) 3-D Modeling System

NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA, June 5, 2007 - 3D Systems Corporation has
selected Canon Virginia, Inc., to manufacture its V-Flash(TM)
compact desktop 3-D modeler.
Canon Virginia, a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., offers a wide variety of contract
manufacturing services to companies including customer product manufacturing, injection
mold tools and reverse logistics.

"We are delighted to team up with a world-class manufacturer such as Canon Virginia
to build the V-Flash desktop modeler," said Abe Reichental, president and chief executive
officer, 3D Systems (NASDAQ: TDSC). "Canon Virginia offers 3D Systems many unique
advantages in manufacturing capabilities and will apply its considerable experience
manufacturing printers and copiers to the V-Flash desktop modeler."

The V-Flash desktop modeler from 3D Systems can build ready-to-use, three-dimensional models within hours at home, school or office workstations. The cost-effective
model maker will enable designers, engineers, hobbyists and students to imagine, design and
produce their ideas at their desks.

"We are very pleased to be selected by 3D Systems as their manufacturing partner for
this exciting and innovative new product," said Takayoshi Hanagata, president and chief
executive officer of Canon Virginia. "3D Systems will benefit from the latest manufacturing
technologies, process knowledge and expertise without having to make substantial capital
investments or dedicate additional resources. Utilizing the Canon Production System and our
principles, we combine our extensive workforce training with state-of-the-art technology and
strict quality assurance techniques."

Canon Virginia uses world-class, lean manufacturing processes to help enable
consistently smooth product introduction and quick ramp-ups. Through this arrangement,
Systems will rely on Canon's proven ability to create the most efficient processes ensuring the
highest quality products, on time, and at the lowest possible cost.

Canon Virginia also has a strong commitment to its community and environment.
Guided by the philosophy known as "kyosei," or living and working together for the common
good, Canon constantly seeks new ways to reduce waste streams. Because of its expertise in
recycling, reclamation and waste-stream reduction of office imaging equipment, Canon
Virginia will offer 3D Systems a cartridge collection and recycling program, and administer it
on its behalf.

V-Flash Modeler
"The development of the V-Flash desktop modeler represents a significant and
important building block in our comprehensive strategy to provide our customers with

"Today's announcement underscores our strong commitment to this new technology and our
belief in its enormous growth potential. We believe that this technology platform will enable
us to broaden our marketplace reach and accelerate the adoption of this revolutionary
technology.

Both companies began working together to deliver this new revolutionary system to
market. The V-Flash desktop modeler is expected to be the most economical machine of its
kind at $9,900, making it affordable for businesses, hobbyists and educational institutions.
