DU bushings are one of the newest ranges added to the latest mechanical drive component's catalogue from precision parts specialist, Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield.
These dry cylindrical compact and light bearings are manufactured from steel and require no lubrication in operation. They therefore provide a maintenance free environment in which to operate and have a high pU capability to boot, the company states. They exhibit low wear rate and are seizure resistant, being suitable for temperatures from -200 to +280ºC. They have a high static and dynamic load capability, have good frictional properties with negligible stick-slip and resist solvents due to no water absorption making them therefore dimensionally stable.
They are electrically conductive and show no electrostatic effects, they have good embedability and are tolerant of dusty environments. DU bearings are pre-finished and require no machining after assembly.
