Xiotech Adds Business Consulting Group to Address Growing Demand for Compliance and Incident Management Solutions

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Xiotech® Corporation today announced that it is building a Business Consulting Group that integrates information management, electronic data discovery and incident management capabilities to address the growing compliance management demands facing corporations and organizations.
Xiotech has hired Dean Gonsowski, Esq., as managing director for this new team. Gonsowski joins Xiotech from Navigant Consulting Inc., where he served as director of the firm's Discovery Services practice. In this role, Gonsowski assisted law firms and corporations with computer forensic investigations, electronic data discovery, and records and information management issues.
"Gonsowski brings to Xiotech a wealth of experience in electronic data discovery and incident management, combined with outstanding leadership and business development," said Scott Winkler, vice president and general manager of Xiotech's Corporate Evidence Management Services business unit. "Dean's experience and expertise in all the process and legal aspects of data discovery will give Xiotech a great foundation in delivering innovative solutions for incident, compliance and evidence management."
Under the direction of Gonsowski, the Business Consulting Group will draw from the collective expertise of Xiotech, a leader in information storage management, and its wholly owned subsidiary Daticon, LLC, a company specializing in data discovery solutions. As a result, the group will deliver innovative and actionable direction for real business issues related to data archiving, data discovery, incidence management and information lifecycle management.

Prior to Navigant Consulting, Gonsowski was the corporate counsel and director of Discovery Services at Fios Inc., a full-service electronic discovery services company. Before joining Fios, Gonsowski founded S3 Partners LLC, a computer forensics consultancy. In addition to his work experience, Gonsowski is a Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner; member of the Dallas, Colorado and American Bar Associations; a former general counsel and practicing litigator who is licensed in both Colorado and California; a frequent guest speaker and teacher of legal education courses on electronic discovery and records information management; and on the board of the e- Discovery Law and Strategy newsletter.
