Wyeth Launches New Customer-centric Web Site
- New site enhancements include a personalized area for health care providers -
MADISON, N.J., May 18 / / -- Responding to the changing informational needs of patients, physicians and investors, Wyeth (NYSE:WYE) today officially unveiled a new Wyeth.com.
The re-launched Web site features new informative content and capabilities, as well as a new structure and format. Additionally, the site navigation has been enhanced. The site now offers more information on Wyeth products, therapy areas, and areas of research, as well as information that has traditionally been available on Wyeth.com, such as job listings, company history and financial postings. New information, including a listing of past and current clinical trials and results for marketed products, has been added.
The new password-protected health care professional area offers physicians an opportunity to better manage their time and relationships with Wyeth. In response to health care providers who stated a preference to access information online, the Company is developing a host of online services to support physicians' needs for its pharmaceutical and disease information. Physicians who register will be provided with content appropriate to their specific therapeutic areas. They will also have access to a personalized online sales representative page with the ability to request drug samples, patient education materials, and literature including disease information and answers to commonly asked product questions.
