Jim Braun, President of AVANTech Inc along with Tracy Barker the VP of Technology, AVANTech Inc. will be instructors a workshop at the International Water Conference® in Orlando October 4 – 8 2009. Jim Braun and Tracy Barker’s workshop will cover the objectives, requirements, and water demands associated with commercial nuclear power plants. Issues related to make-up, primary coolant, condensate and wastewater systems will be discussed. Details on engineering controls and design techniques used to maintain personnel radiation exposure As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) will be provided.
