Winkle Industries Teams up with Company Wrench to Deliver the Goods

Alliance, OH - Company Wrench Managing Director, Brad Hutchinson, recently announced that his search for a magnet supplier was over. Winkle President, Joe Schatz and Brad Hutchinson met eye-to-eye on how they wanted to conduct business together and how their business philosophies were a perfect match!

Winkle Industries, the nation's most technologically advanced manufacturer and remanufacturer of lifting magnets for extreme duty applications in scrap yards, recycling facilities and steel mills will now be available through Company Wrench. Furthermore, in a statement, Hutchinson indicated that all of his Company's Service Technicians will soon be receiving training on the complete Winkle product line in order to familiarize them with Winkle's technology that is built into every product.

"We are extremely pleased to have developed a working relationship with Winkle," said Hutchinson. "Our clients around the country count on us to deliver and that's the only way we know how to do business. Having originated in 1999 here in Ohio, we now have multiple locations with 31 service trucks that effectively serve the continental United States. Our field service programs are tailored to meet our customers' needs. Whether it's a mobile crane, Winkle magnet, power supply or magnet controller, we can offer our customers turn-key solutions. It is all about uptime and productivity and that is something that we completely understand", says Hutchinson.

Growth at Winkle has been equally impressive since it was first acquired by Schatz in 1998. In 2004, Winkle Industries moved into a new state-of-the-art facility to keep up with the growing demand for Winkle products and services. "We are very selective when choosing a partner to promote the Winkle brand and we are very proud to announce our new affiliation with Company Wrench. Our clients will have enhanced access to field service personnel who are extensively trained for the proper utilization and maintenance of lifting magnets, auxiliary components and magnet systems." As Schatz indicated, like Company Wrench, Winkle is driven by their customers' needs and lives by the concept of designing and supporting systems that are 'engineered for end-to-end productivity'.

According to Hutchinson, "We had looked at other magnet suppliers, but none of the other firms had the drive and expertise of Winkle. Joe and his team were willing to step up and make a commitment to us, and our clients. We were recognized as the 2006 Terex Fuchs Dealer of the Year and the 2004/2005/2006 #1 LaBounty dealer in the country. The Company Wrench name is synonymous with the 'Cutting Edge of Customer Service'. We expect the same from our business partners and that is what we found in Winkle."

Both Hutchinson and Schatz felt that by combining their expertise, both companies are better positioned today to deliver unrivaled products and services. "We are confident that Brad and his team are the proper selection for providing superior customer service and support." said Schatz.
