William Almon Named CDM’s New Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Turnersville, NJ, October 22, 2019...CDM Electronics, a premier authorized distributor of electronic connectors and cables, today announced William Almon has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effectively immediately. Almon served most recently as CDM’s Midwest Regional Sales Manager.
“Bill has been singularly instrumental in the development and execution of CDM’s sales and marketing strategies”, said Lori Maeder, Vice President of CDM Electronics. “His strong leadership abilities, tenure at CDM, and in-depth knowledge of our customers’ specific interconnect products and engineered cable assembly needs, make him the ideal person to head our global sales and marketing initiatives.”
As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Almon will lead CDM’s sales, strategic business, and marketing plan development, as well as the company’s sales promotion and multi-channel advertising and lead-generating programs. Other duties include identifying new market potential and streamlining sales processes.
Almon joined CDM in 2008 as Midwest Regional Manager and has consistently helped the company identify new sales opportunities while increasing sales revenue from existing customers and markets. His 25-year electronics industry career includes 10 years at Eaton/Cooper Interconnect, where he held the position of National Sales Manager. He will remain based at CDM’s regional office in Plano, TX.
