WIKA Instrument Corporation Forms Partnership with RJ Global
Lawrenceville, GA - WIKA Instrument Corporation and RJ Global announced on February 3, 2006 the creation of a new joint venture called RJ Global-WIKA, LLC. The focus of the new venture is to expand business in the growing electronic instrumentation diaphragm seal market. The marriage of RJ Global's local US market expertise and WIKA's global expertise offers customers a single source for an expanded range of product and service solutions capable of growing with their business needs.
As part of the new venture, the WIKA Houston Service Center will be moved and combined with the RJ Global facility in Houston, TX. The new company will continue to manufacture seals according to WIKA design specifications as well as RJ Global designs, the best from both organizations. WIKA will continue to manufacture diaphragm seals for the gauge and switch market in its Lawrenceville, Georgia production facility.
Michael Gerster, WIKA U.S. President, who has actively been involved in the development of the new company, feels the partnership is an excellent opportunity for both companies.
