WidePoint's Logical Security Solutions Expand Wackenhut's Strengths in Providing Government Physical Security Solutions in Addressing CyberSecurity Threats

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4, 2011 - WidePoint Corporation (NYSE Amex: WYY), a specialist in wireless mobility management and cybersecurity solutions, and Wackenhut Services Inc. ("WSI") today jointly announced that the two companies have entered into an agreement that expands the total security services WSI can offer its customers that will now include logical security solutions for identity management and information protection provided by WidePoint in conjunction with WSI's existing technology solutions.

The agreement enables WSI to provide existing clients with technology solutions for products and services that will enable organizations to securely control access to networked assets through the use of enhanced multi-factor authentication. The enhanced technology will protect data in motion with strong encryption along with validation and authentication managed through WidePoint's trusted facilities authorized to operate by the U.S. Federal Government.
