Wellogix Announces Issuance of U.S. Patent

HOUSTON, June 5, 2006 -- Wellogix announced today that it
has received a major U.S. patent for its technology
surrounding "complex business project workflow." Over thirty
(30) claims were granted for the technology that broadly
encompasses Internet commerce for effecting work orders,
field tickets, invoicing, the versioning of such events, and
reconciliation of such documents into an ERP system.

Ike Epley, CEO of Wellogix, said, "We have spent tens of
millions of dollars and over five years in the development
and commercialization of our technology. We are pleased that
this patent protects several of the core requirements of
executing a complex business process and that although we
are currently focused with the energy industry, our patent
and technology are not in any way industry-specific."

"U.S. Patent No. 7,043,486 is at the forefront of Wellogix'
technology portfolio, which also includes additional patent
applications that have been allowed and will soon be issued
as United States Patents," said Guy Matthews of Matthews,
Lawson, Bowick & Al-Azem, PLLC, who represent Wellogix in
matters of trademarks, copyrights and patents.

"We believe that this development goes a long way in
providing clarity in the marketplace for both our current
and prospective clients who are investigating ways to become
more effective businesses, and who now can license patented
technology to accomplish that goal," concluded Epley.
