Weightpack Attends Las Vegas Pack EXPO September 23 - 25, 2013

In 1979, in Goito Italy, Carlo Corniani introduced the globally-recognized, first, net-weight filler with electronic controls. This technology changed the way products are filled by providing exact weight accuracy, thus guaranteeing an accurate fill to both the consumer and supplier. Because this technology can autocorrect any deviation to both net tear weight and net fill weight, the sensing controls automatically reject or interrupt fill for improperly filled or imperfect containers while continuously maintaining and improving the filling process. Industry product applications include food and beverages, home and personal care, chemicals, detergents, motor oils, pharmaceuticals, etc.
In 2001, Weightpack established its main production facility in Powhatan, Virginia and has enjoyed steady growth even through the economic down-turn. In 2012, Weightpack announced that in a three phase process, it will consolidate its headquarters from Italy to Virginia. The expansion of its existing space from 12k sq. feet to 15k sq. feet was completed in July of 2013. Ground-breaking for the additional 16k sq. feet production expansion is scheduled for September of this year. Weightpack will maintain their oversees manufacturing and sales facilities in Goito, Italy, Naucalpan, Mexico, Sao Paulo, Brasil and Cordoba, Argentina.
