Vicon is Awarded State Bid Contracts in Ohio and New York
Hauppauge, NY, December 3, 2007 - Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of digital and IP video surveillance systems, has been awarded state bid contracts in New York and Ohio through those state's respective procurement offices. This allows New York and Ohio state agencies and government entities to specify and purchase Vicon products without going to bid.
State bids contract are awarded on the basis of product quality, pricing and best value to compliant contractors within the regions. Pricing will be based on Vicon's GSA (Government Services Administration) contract with the federal government.
