Vanguard Products Increases NSF-51 Offering
Vanguard Products Corporation is pleased to announce that we have expanded the number of materials that are listed by NSF International (NSF) to their standard NSF/ANSI-51. NSF International (www.nsf.org) is the leader in the development of public health standards and certification programs that help protect the world’s food, water, consumer products and environment, protecting and improving global human health. The NSF mark assures consumers, retailers, and regulators that products have been rigorously tested to comply with all standard requirements.
Listing to NSF/ANSI-51 means that NSF has independently determined that our materials meet public health and sanitation requirements for use in commercial foodservice equipment such as broilers, beverage dispensers, cutting boards, and stock pots. With these additional listings, Vanguard’s number of NSF/ANSI-51 materials has increased to eleven compounds, covering a broad range of durometer hardnesses, colors, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance. These compounds are available as tubing, profile extrusions, molded products, and fabricated gaskets and seals.
