Use Your CAD Software to Find the Right Kellett Pads

New Website Function Saves Time for Customers

Greenville, SC 12/16/09 - Kellett Enterprises today announced that customers can now use the Kellett website to pull drawings of its various vibration isolation pads into their CAD drawings to see how the pads will fit their equipment.

"If one of our customers - or even a potential customer - is building a new piece of equipment and vibration isolation could be an issue, this new capability will show exactly how the pad will fit," said Claudia Kellett McNabb, CEO of Kellett Enterprises.

With a long list of file formats to choose from, the customer simply chooses the pad size from the standard pad sizes; clicks on the available CAD drawings, drags and drops the drawing into their software, placing it wherever vibration control is needed. From there, if the pad needs to be re-sized to fit the project, the customer then has the ability to change the size and thickness of our products within their own drawing.

And coming soon, if a customer is not quite sure what size pad they need, Kellett's website will include a product configurator, which will help customers make that determination. If a customer ends up needing a pad size not on the list of standard sizes, Kellett's Configurator will create a part number so customers can order the pads customized to their size specifications. Until Kellett's new Configurator is online, customers can call the Sales Department and order pads cut to any desired size.

"This will save significant time for our customers because they won't have to draw pads, which typically is what takes significant time," McNabb said.
