Two Technologies Announces Three Appointments and Expanded Manufacturing Facility


The hand held computer maker is gearing up
for continued growth in 2006

HORSHAM, PENNSYLVANIA, January 20, 2006-Two Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of rugged hand held computers and terminals used in global applications, today announced it has promoted two company executives and added a third. Eric Eckstein has been promoted to president and chief operating officer and Vince Turco has been has been named vice president of manufacturing. Additionally, David Schwartz has joined the company as vice president of marketing.

The company also has increased its manufacturing floor space by 60 percent to accommodate new automated assembly production lines for product customization.

"Over the past few years, growth at Two Technologies has been incredible," said David Young, CEO at Two Technologies, Inc. "In 2005, our revenues increased 45 percent over the previous year's. We needed to augment our management staff and add to our manufacturing capabilities to handle the company's existing workload as well as projected new business in 2006."

Eric Eckstein

Eckstein has 20 years of IT industry experience, with background in the areas of radio frequency (RF), radio frequency identification (RFID) and telecommunications. In his new position as vice president of strategic planning, he is responsible for the growth and innovation of the company in developing new markets. Previously, as vice president of strategic planning, he led long-term planning and development for the company's GEMPASS program and its product roadmap.

Before joining Two Technologies, Eckstein was vice president of worldwide research & development for Checkpoint Systems, Thorofare, NJ. Prior to that, he was manager of digital products at QEI Corporation, Williamstown, NJ.

Eckstein earned a B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, and holds seven patents, with 13 more pending, in the areas of RFID, telecommunications, target manufacturing and mobile computing.

David Schwartz

Schwartz has joined the company as vice president of marketing, with oversight for all Two Technologies' marketing activities, including research, planning, branding and communications.

He has 25 years of experience in the marketing and technology sectors. Prior to joining the company, Schwartz spent six years as managing director for StratNEXT, a strategic marketing consulting firm based in Horsham. Before that, he put in four years as executive director at Bellcore, Morristown, NJ and S.A.I.C., a Fortune 500 systems integrator, and four years as director of marketing at Peirce-Phelps, a leading systems integrator at Philadelphia.

Schwartz earned a B.A. degree in architecture and administrative sciences from Yale University, New Haven, CT and an M.B.A. degree in marketing management from Drexel University, Philadelphia.

Vince Turco

Turco's career spans 25 years in mechanical and electrical design and engineering. In his new position, he oversees all areas of manufacturing within Two Technologies. During his 12-year tenure with the company, he also has served as engineering department manager, a mechanical engineer and a printed circuit board designer. Previously, he worked with Quad Systems Corp. and Ram Precision, both based in Horsham.

Turco earned an A.S. degree in electrical and mechanical design technologies from the American Institute of Design Technologies, Philadelphia, and holds three product patents.
