Transtecno Group Opens a North American Sales Office
Power Transmission Products, OEM Expertise and Cost-Effective Solutions
Transtecno Group, a leading European Supplier of Aluminum Gearboxes, DC motors and Gearmotors for the Power Transmission Industry has opened a North American Sales office in the state of Iowa. "This is a move the Transtecno Group has wanted to make for quite sometime and now the time has come" said Transtecno President Claudio Lorenzoni.
Jon Roetman will operate the North American territory for the Transtecno Group.
Jon brings to Transtecno 18 years in the automotive field, along with 4 years of experience as a product manager for a well known fractional horsepower motor manufacturer. "I'm excited about the opportunity to start this venture in the USA with the Transtecno Group" said Roetman. "The Transtecno Group has a broad range of products for the power transmission industry, as well as an excellent price point" added Roetman. Roetman's primary responsibilities are to manage North American sales as well as identifying new OEM applications, and partnering with distributors to promote, stock and sell the Transtecno Group products.
The 2 main focuses for the North American market are OEM applications and setting up distribution channels. "The Transtecno Group has decades of experience and technical knowledge with OEM applications around the globe" said Alex Aposkitis, the North American Markets Manager at the Transtecno Group headquarters in Bologna, Italy. "We have solved many application issues for our customers in Europe and are expanding that knowledge to the North American markets" added Aposkitis. "We have well developed distribution channels throughout the rest of the world, and now we are focusing on promoting our products into the North American distribution channels" added Lorenzoni.
