Rodon purchases quick video vision inspection equipment to assist in QA capability expansion
Hatfield, PA- (January 17, 2011) - The Rodon Group purchased a state-of-the-art vision inspection system for their QA Metrology Lab. The Mitutoyo QV-APEX404 Quick Vision measuring system is a non-contact, highly automated measurement solution that can perform measuring and inspection functions faster and more accurately than conventional methods. Inspection processes that once took hours can now be done in minutes with superior accuracy and a more streamlined and effective Statistical Process Control reporting (SPC). The new equipment has already proven to be very useful and effective on a variety of production parts manufactured for Rodon's customers as well as internally to assist with measuring and tooling design accuracy. Rodon saw the need for the equipment several years ago as the demand grew from some of their high end food grade and medical manufacturing customers for more precise, effective and efficient measuring and reporting. This post molding inspection device will efficiently and accurately address QA intensive applications for the high tech marketplace.
