The PHILADELPHIA 100® Names Tiger Optics The 20th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company In The Philadelphia Region

Warrington, PA - October 10, 2007 -Tiger Optics LLC, a leading manufacturer of laser-based trace gas analyzers, today announced that it has been recognized by the Philadelphia 100® as the 20th fastest growing, privately held company in the 10-county Philadelphia region. The Philadelphia 100 was founded in 1988 to publicly identify, recognize and promote the top 100 young and successful private companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. The annual program is conducted by the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Business Journal and Wharton Small Business Development Center.

"Tiger Optics is honored to be chosen among the top companies in the Philadelphia region, and as one of the few manufacturers of the group. While we're a global company, we rely on our strong foundation of local employees and leverage the opportunities afforded us by this vibrant business community," said Lisa Bergson, CEO of Tiger Optics LLC. "This award is a testament to our commitment to delivering highly innovative products that solve real business problems and substantially impact the bottom line. As a result, Tiger Optics' sales continue to grow at a record pace, as customers worldwide realize that gas analysis can be fast, accurate and cost effective."

Tiger Optics has experienced a compound growth rate of 54 percent over the past five years, and 70 percent of sales in 2006 were to repeat customers. In 2007, Tiger Optics introduced a groundbreaking product line that addresses a previously unmet need - the Halo family of gas analyzers, the fastest and most accurate gas analyzers on the market, offered in the most compact form factor and cost-effective price point.

Tiger Optics was founded in 2001, having spun-off from parent company MEECO, a respected name in moisture analysis since 1948. In early 2002, Tiger Optics became the first to commercialize a powerful, patented technology known as Continuous Wave Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CW-CRDS) technology that enables faster and more accurate gas analysis at a lower total cost of ownership. Tiger Optics' gas analyzers are now used by over 100 major companies worldwide, with close to 500 modules used by organizations in industries including semiconductor, chemicals, automotive, and electronic, industrial and specialty gas.

The 2007 Philadelphia 100® marks the 19th Anniversary of the founding of this prestigious research project and event. Tiger Optics will be honored at The 2007 Philadelphia 100® Awards Dinner and Ceremony, held on October 25 at The Sheraton Philadelphia.
