Telwares Expands CIO Global Forum Program

Regional Thought Leadership Roundtables To Take Place in Dallas, New York and Los Angeles

PLEASANTON, Calif., March 2, 2011 - Telwares today announced that based on the success of its bi-annual CIO Global Forum seven years running, and given the rapid pace of change and innovation in networking and IT solutions, it has expanded its event series to include intimate, regional CIO thought leadership roundtables. After a successful regional event in Chicago in December of last year, the Company will now host invitation-only events in Dallas (March 3), New York City (June 2), and Los Angeles (September 15).

The Company also announced that Ramon Baez, Vice President of Information Technology Services and CIO at Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB), will deliver the keynote address in Dallas. The agenda for the evening will include the role of the CIO as a business, technology and communications leader, and a discussion of innovations and initiatives CIOs have undertaken to improve customer satisfaction, team productivity, and financial results.

The Telwares CIO Global Forum has been bringing together accomplished and forward-thinking technology and business leaders since 2003, providing a venue for education and idea exchange on topics ranging from return on investment in information platforms, collaboration tools, knowledge management and optimization, enterprise mobility, and cloud computing. A key focus for 2011 will be the opportunities and challenges associated with global expansion as the economy continues to improve. The Forum and regional dinner series provide an intimate environment for market-leading CIOs to share successes and challenges, and gather actionable ideas for their own companies.

"CIOs are under increasing pressure to drive innovation that supports business growth and improved profitability, while maintaining control over the cost of providing robust information environments," said Charlotte Yates, CEO of Telwares and Founder of the CIO Global Forum. "There is nothing more valuable than having access to peers for the exchange of ideas, honest conversations, and a unique view into what is working in other large organizations. Our regional thought leadership roundtables, which attendees of the CIO Forum have asked us to host, will serve as a valuable extension to our biannual Forum events," added Yates.

The CIO Global Forum and regional CIO dinners are closed to the media and public.
