Tektronix Releases Mobile Version of Online Calibration Quoting Tool FastQuote
Convenient mobile user interface enables customers to receive a quote anytime, anywhere
BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Tektronix (service-solutions.tektronix.com), the industry's leading multi-vendor service (MVS) provider of instrument calibration and repair, today announced the release of FastQuote Mobile, the mobile version of its online instrument calibration pricing tool. Tektronix is the only provider of instrument calibration services to offer a mobile-friendly pricing tool to current and prospective multi-vendor service customers.
FastQuote Mobile is a simplified version of the standard FastQuote pricing tool, providing a more conducive mobile-device experience. FastQuote Mobile operates on virtually any smartphone platform with a web browser, is easy to use and does not occupy memory space. Customers no longer need to be in front of their PC to receive a calibration quote, adding a level of convenience for many work environments where only a mobile device is available.

FastQuote allows users to easily and efficiently request a quote for more than 140,000 instruments from 9,000-plus manufacturers. Since its inception, the FastQuote tool has received roughly 50,000 quote requests and continues to provide customers with the convenience of self-service calibration pricing. The system also increases operational efficiency and minimizes instrument downtime by supplying customers with packing lists, shipping information and timely instrument service reminders.
