October 2, 2006. Technipower LLC is pleased to announce it has entered into a long term supplier agreement with a major manufacturer of thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor industry. Technipower will be providing an air-cooled, 12kW version of the Cobalt15 to the exact requirements of this system. Reliability, Functionality and Performance at a competitive cost were paramount requirements of this next generation deposition system. This was accomplished by incorporating the latest technology into an extremely rugged architecture. Low junction temperatures within the power section ensure the product's long-term success.
The Cobalt15 platform provides OEM's with kilowatts of straightforward, cost effective, adjustable power conversion in a compact, rugged package. The product allows application-specific tailoring of a proven conformable platform. Decades of engineering experience coupled with the utilization of the latest technologies has finally allowed this next generation of simplicity and high reliability to be possible. AC/DC, DC/DC, 40kHz Output, Low Voltage and High Voltage versions are available. Multiple units may be paralleled for higher power requirements with the ability of controlling each module's output independently via a communication bus.
