Advisors can now route and track trades from creation through settlement using a single rebalancing and trading platform
SEATTLE -- Tamarac Inc., a leading provider of integrated portfolio management software and services, announced today the addition of straight-through processing of ETF and equity trades directly from its portfolio rebalancing application, Advisor Rebalancing®, using FIX connectivity.
With over 1,200 advisors using its premium rebalancing application--and collectively managing over $150B in assets--Tamarac is uniquely positioned to extend its value proposition of driving greater efficiency into more RIA offices with the addition of trade execution and order routing functionality.
"Thanks to Advisor Rebalancing's straight-through processing, I am now only an internet session away from having FIX connectivity to all three major brokerage firms we clear through, all through one easy screen within Advisor Rebalancing," says Andy Boedecker, VP of Trading and Operations at FEG/Managed Portfolios. "The setup for Advisor Rebalancing was extremely easy, and my trading workflows are now available to me wherever I have internet access, with speed that matches what we used to have through Moxy."
Advisors that trade ETFs and equities benefit from the powerful portfolio modeling (including n-tier models), monitoring, cash management, and advanced account and security settings that are built into Tamarac's rebalancing application.
Trade execution and routing is one of several key new capabilities that will comprise the latest version of Tamarac's integrated portfolio management suite, Advisor X, releasing in October of this year. Advisor X integrates portfolio rebalancing, trade order management, CRM, performance reporting, customer portal, and portfolio accounting. Components of Advisor X may be purchased as standalone software.
"By adding FIX connectivity to our industry leading rebalancing application, advisors are now able to further streamline their trading workflows with straight-through processing of trades," says Tamarac CEO, Stuart DePina. "We are continuing to make investments in our technology solutions which provide advisors with both increased efficiency as well as tools to eliminate costly trading errors."
