TAK Enterprises, Inc. Celebrates 30th Year of Business

Established in September of 1981 by Thomas A Kunkler and Rienehart Hermann, TAK Enterprises has conducted business out of Bristol, CT since its inception starting in a 1,000 square foot building, and is now located in a 30,000 square foot facility.

During its history TAK has developed many new and innovative products such as the Posiblank(TM) Holder, VeriFeed(TM) and Syncro Cam Timing System for slide forming machines as well as a line of precision grade wire straighteners.

TAK introduced a revolutionary new design for a fine wire ( .006" and up ) payoff that included a "French Curve" reservoir, ultra low friction guide rollers, and wire "snag' sensing ability. Also, during these past 30 years the contract production activities of TAK Enterprises has shipped several billion surgical staples and clips without any quality issues as a result of utilizing "cassette" type tooling concepts and specialized inspection methods.

During its 30 years of business, TAK Enterprises has supplied equipment and services to many small and Fortune 500 sized companies which serve the Medical Device, Automotive, Aerospace, Appliance, Electronic, Electrical, Spring, Wire Forming, and Dental markets.

TAK Enterprises has achieved several significant milestones as it celebrates its 30th year of business.

Special business partnerships and alliances were formalized that now allow TAK Enterprises to offer not only turnkey modular system solutions for stamping and contact welding, assembly, in-line injection molding and in-line coil spring production cells, but also enables us to offer these capabilities as part of our ISO 9001:2000 certified contract production services. Recent introduction of new servo based programmable feed and processing systems, the incorporation of Allen Bradley PLC hardware in our standard Feed & Cutoff systems, and our new line of medium duty wire payoffs are just a few of the significant additions to our standard product line. The addition of both direct & indirect sales personnel in the states of California, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, and Mexico, a new extensively interactive web site, and the incorporation of major internet marketing activities are just a few of the major achievements during our 30 years of business.

Our new partnerships not only span the country with companies that share our commitment to quality and service like Spectral Systems of California and AIM/Joraco of Road Island, but also include strategic alliances with organizations from Europe including Stanzbiegetechnik (SBT) of Austria and Colombi of Sweden, which strengthen our ability to meet the competitive advantage of some Asian countries.

TAK Enterprises Inc. designs, manufactures, represents and markets precision wire straighteners, custom feed and cut-off systems, servo feed systems, wire payoffs, cleaner/lubricators, and a variety of time saving machine accessories for managing linear material.
