Tacony Corporation Hires New Marketing Director for Powr-Flite Division
New director has extensive background in marketing and manufacturing
Fort Worth, TX - Tacony Corporation, a leading manufacturer of professional and consumer products and equipment, announces the hiring of Zack Smith as the new Director of Marketing for the corporation’s Powr-Flite division.
Powr-Flite manufactures an entire range of professional cleaning tools and equipment, from floor machines and carpet extractors to the company’s new Comfort Pro backpack vacuum cleaner.
Smith has extensive experience in advertising and marketing. Prior to joining Powr-Flite, he was the director of marketing for Praesidium, Inc., a risk management consulting company and led the marketing efforts for Ennis, Inc., the nation’s largest wholesale print and apparel manufacturer.
Smith also serves as an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University, teaching principles of marketing, consumer buying, and personal selling courses.
“We were looking for someone well-versed in a wide spectrum of marketing strategies and business development,” says Steve Day, Senior Vice President of Tacony’s Floor Care Division. “We selected Zack because he really impressed us with his skills, know-how, energy, and experience.”
