Swagelok Receives Corporate Award from CSA Standards


SOLON, Ohio (September 28, 2009)--For its years of involvement in international standards development, Swagelok Company was honored with a Corporate Award of Merit from CSA Standards. CSA Standards, a leading developer of standards and codes, honored several individuals and companies at a special event during the CSA Standards Annual Conference, Sept. 21-24 in Cleveland.

It is the third year for the CSA Standards Awards, which are presented to individuals, committees, and organizations for exceptional service and achievement in the area of standards development. This year, CSA presented three Corporate Awards of Merit to organizations who demonstrated a high level of involvement in the organization's programs.

"Our involvement with CSA dates back to the early 1990s and is an important part of our overall standards and compliance strategy," said Dave Peace, vice president, engineering, Swagelok Company. "We believe that active participation in standards development is part of our responsibility to customers to help bring new technologies to the global market."

Swagelok associates participate on all alternative energy Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) within CSA.
